Welcome to my blog

The month of May got off to a rather rocky start, as miscommunication took on a life of its own and letters and emails went back and forth. This was quite a shock, as April had been a lovely month on many levels.

I do find it’s helpful to take a step back and observe a situation from a more neutral standpoint if possible. I can often find a shift in perspective by tuning into what’s happening astrologically—essentially, paying attention to the movements and alignments of the planets.

Understanding that the beginning of May might possibly bring unexpected shocks and disruptions, due to certain planetary alignments, helped me to see my own experiences through a broader lens. This allowed me to access a deeper sense of compassion for everyone involved, resulting in a quick resolution for all concerned and a broader understanding of how a few words can paint entirely different pictures for different people.

What an opportunity for learning and personal growth!
I now see the whole experience as a gift.

(If you’re at all curious about astrology, I highly recommend the wise and very knowledgeable Pam Gregory, who posts regularly on You Tube: https://www.youtube.com/@PamGregoryOfficial)

Another unexpected gift came my way when our internet connection was cut off for a week — the result of a digger accidentally snagging the cable while installing a new lamp post outside our garden.

It felt like a mini holiday; no emails, no social media, no YouTube. Pure bliss.
Instead, I spent my evenings going on long quiet walks through the woods, catching the sunset and watching the way the fading light lit up the tree trunks and an old building.

The rest of the month has sped by, with golden sunshine every day helping my hard working bones and muscles to relax. Along with my hubby Paul, I’ve been very busy in the garden, creating new beds, (me), laying new paths (Paul), and repositioning a box hedge, (both of us).

Thank goodness for the luxury of  a magnesium bath, a good book and a bit  of refreshment at the end of the day!

As May draws to a close, I will leave you with these wise words;

We live by the sun
We feel by the moon
We move by the stars

We live in all things
All things live in us
